Meet the Builder

The Dominion Heights community within The Dominion is a collaboration of two long-time experienced real estate development and home building families. Wayne Wright, the original developer of the award-winning Dominion community, was the Managing Partner and prime visionary force behind master-planning and development of every aspect of The Dominion. His legacy group, Dominion Group Partners, purchased the Dominion land as a working ranch in 1981 and immediately began master-planning the community, constructing the country club, and in cooperation with San Antonio’s most premier luxury home builders, created one of the most admired luxury residential communities in Texas. Wayne Wright and The Dominion masterplanning team have won numerous national awards for their creative efforts. The Phil Hooker family has been in real estate and home building businesses in Texas for more than 30 years, always emphasizing exceptional quality of construction and homeowner satisfaction.

To design each unique custom home within Dominion Heights, Dwell Dominion has enlisted the services of one of San Antonio’s most admired and respected luxury home designers, Gustavo Arredondo.
Mr. Arredondo has designed more than 500 luxury homes in the San Antonio and Hill Country area and more than 80 premier homes within The Dominion. His legacy for designing luxurious, yet easy-living family homes is unmatched.

The Dominion Country Club

18 Hole Golf Course

Challenging, innovative, and gracefully designed by award-winning architect Bill Johnston, The Dominion Country Club’s golf course is both a breathtaking sight and a challenge to play. The course features a classic design combined with meticulous attention to detail.
